Was really excited today to get close to and inside a Coulson Sikorski S-61 Helicopter. It is based in Bendigo Aerodrome at the moment to assist with the flooding issues that Victoria is currently experiencing. The helicopter divides its time between Canada and Australia fighting fires usually. There are only two of these helicopters in Australia currently. The same company has also got three of these machines deployed in Afghanistan at present.
The Air Ambulance HEMS 3 was kind enough to take off while we were there, so I got some good shots of it as well.
