Rhys loves puppies

Yesterday Rhys had the opportunity to hold a couple of little week old puppies. Rhys was completely blown away by them and kept saying how cute they were. Here are the pictures of them.

Bendigo Lakeside Fun Run

Today the kids and I participated in a 5km lakeside walk. They gave us anklebands to wear to time us and we got showbags at the end. It was better organised this year than the previous year when they underestimated their numbers. Natasha ran ahead with two of her friends and Em & I set a slower pace and came in about the middle of the walkers. We all had a great time and look forward to doing it again next year.

Look Mum, no wheels!!

Emily has finally joined the ranks of bike riders without trainer wheels. She is really enjoying riding her bike and insists on nightly practice.

Fashion on the Green

Every year they have a fashion parade at school in honour of the Melbourne Cup. This year Natasha went as a jockey and Emily was a fairy.
